John B. Dunlap III practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, construction law, business law, real estate, homeland security law and military law. He serves as a Special Assistant Attorney General representing the State in regulatory liability suits against State agencies. He is also a licensed title insurance agent for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company. He is a frequent lecturer for the National Business Institute and Lorman Educational Services in the areas of complex federal litigation and construction law.
In addition to his private law practice, Colonel Dunlap serves as the State Judge Advocate of the Louisiana National Guard. He is the Senior Legal Advisor to the Adjutant General and advises the Governor's Office on military law and homeland security issues.
Mr. Dunlap is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts.
