J. Michael Monsour practices primarily in commercial litigation, including the prosecution and defense of cases involving defects in the design, manufacturing and construction of residential and commercial properties; contracts; disability laws; employment and wage laws, insurance casualty, personal injury and property damage claims; insurance coverage litigation; interstate commerce and trucking; mold and mildew exposure; products liability; professional liability and redhibition. He has successfully prosecuted and defended several cases through settlement negotiations, alternative dispute resolution and trials. Mr. Monsour also devotes a portion of his practice to assisting local businesses with land use, zoning, permitting and licensing issues at the city, parish and state levels.
